During the COP26 Meeting held in Glasgow last year, the Prime Minister of Thailand declared that Thailand's goal is to achieve carbon neutrality by 2050 and accomplish Net Zero Greenhouse Gas Emissions by 2065. In order to fulfill these pledges, Thailand has updated its Energy Master plan and increased targets for Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency. At the same time, District Cooling has attracted attention in Thailand, both from the private and public sector, as an energy efficient, environmentally friendly and financially viable solution to meet growing cooling demand and as support for the country's goals on climate targets.
